Privacy Policy

Able (“Able,” “we,” “us”) helps parents turn a child’s ADHD diagnosis report into a one-page brief for teachers. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and what happens to it — in plain language, the same way we ask our AI to talk about your kid.

The short version

• We don’t store the diagnosis report you upload or the brief we generate from it.
• Your file is processed transiently to build your brief, then it’s gone from our systems.
• We use Google’s Gemini API to read and extract information from your upload — that’s the one third party that sees the report’s contents.
• We never sell your data, or your child’s, to anyone.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in via a one-time link and to send you your brief if you ask us to email it.

The diagnosis report you upload. Processed to extract the information needed for the brief — diagnosis, strengths, challenges, recommended strategies, and any scores or notes present in the document.

What you type into the brief. Child’s name, grade, school, age, the teacher or contact information you add, and any note you write in your own words.

Basic usage data. Whether you’ve used your free report and whether you’ve paid for lifetime access, so the product works correctly.

What we don’t do

We don’t store your uploaded report or the generated brief on our servers. Processing happens for the duration of building your brief; the file and the extracted content are not retained afterward. The finished PDF exists on your device once you download it — that copy is yours and outside our systems entirely.

Third parties we use

• Google Gemini — reads your uploaded report to extract structured information. Subject to Google’s own API data-handling terms.
• Supabase — handles sign-in and stores your account record (email, payment status).
• Stripe — processes payment if you purchase lifetime access. We never see or store your card details; Stripe handles that directly.
• Resend — delivers the brief to your inbox if you choose to email yourself a copy.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

About your child’s information

The diagnosis report you upload contains sensitive health information about a minor. You’re uploading it as that child’s parent or legal guardian, and we treat it accordingly: processed only to build the brief you asked for, not retained, not used for any other purpose, and not shared beyond the third parties listed above that are necessary to deliver the product.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and any associated record at any time by contacting us. Since we don’t retain your uploaded reports or generated briefs, there’s nothing further to delete on that front once you’ve downloaded your brief — it was never stored to begin with.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
